Biohit Family Aerosol Barrier Pipet Tips, Sartorius

Ideal  for corrosive and radioactive sample handling. Tips are made of  premium-grade virgin polypropylene and incorporate a hydrophobic barrier  to prevent contamination of the pipettor barrel and subsequent sample  cross-contamination. Tips are most accurate when used with Biohit  Proline pipettors.

Tips are tray-packaged, electron beam presterilized, and certified RNase-, DNase-, and pyrogen-free. Both 53495-410 and 80094-170 are elongated tips.

VWR Low-Retention Aerosol Filter Tips

Filter  tips provide protection from sample carry-over while minimizing sample  hang-up inside the tips. Endotoxin-free, high molecular weight  polyethylene filters allow the pipette to draw by venting through a  sponge-like pathway. Pathway pores have an average size of 10μL,  allowing the capture of radionucleotides.

Tips use low-retention  resin that is up to 10 times more hydrophobic than other polypropylene  pipette tips, enabling viscous samples like protein solutions to  dispense easily without collecting inside the tip. Sterilized by  irradiation with validated medical grade processing. Autoclavable.

Ordering Information: Packaged 96 tips per hinged rack.
Resin is compliant with RoHs requirements.

Biotix  tips are manufactured with proprietary technologies for increased  pipetting accuracy and precision. The unique Biotix Delta Filter alerts  the user to potential contamination by changing color upon contact with  liquids or aerosols. FlexFit provides a flexible nature at the  proximal end of the tip to reduce the insertion and ejection forces when  using a pipet. Blade technology eliminates hanging drops at the distal  end of the pipet tip. Select from tips featuring X-Resin or  Chem-Resin to meet your specific application.

Tips made from the  proprietary X-Resin feature industry-leading low retention surface for  maximum sample recovery. Robust sample recovery supports performance  and data accuracy in today s most sensitive assays.

Chem-Resin  provides a more neutral surface tension for working with polar solvents  or highly electronegative reagents. The reduced hydrophobicity on the  surface facilitates low volume draw and drip-free dispense of these  chemical classes.
